The parcel market is becoming increasingly relevant. The Swiss Post alone transports between 800,000 and 1,000,000 parcels every day.
The parcel centres are at the centre of this logistical service. The largest is the parcel centre Härkingen with about 400'000 parcels passing through it every day.
